Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis & Parasitology

This test is an overall evaluation of digestive function including absorption, gut flora and the colonic environment. The Comprhensive Digestive Stool Analysis with Parasties Profile is indicated for all chronic digestive problems, for acute bowl changes and many generalized diseases .   The Panel also helps to identify inflammatory conditions such as food allergies,  Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), NSAID enteropathy, and post-infectious Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Pancreatic insufficiency is also assessed by via Pancreatic Elastase (PE-1) a marker that is not affected by digestive supplements, changes in stool transit time or marker variability. The addition of the Parasitology test, will also indicate whether there are any current parasitic infections.
