Antithyroglobulin and Antithyroid Peroxidase
Antithyroglobulin antibody is a test to measure antibodies to a protein called thyroglobulin, which is found in thyroid cells.
Anti-TPO autoantibodies are useful as an aid in the diagnosis of thyroid diseases, in particular Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and Graves’   disease.
